LEDs in the exterior mirrors on both sides of the vehicle to warn the driver when a vehicle enters the area defined as the blind spot, which extends from the side mirror 10 meters behind the vehicle and 10 meters from the vehicle.
CTA uses radar sensors to alert the driver BLIS of oncoming traffic while in reverse and backed by a parking space. CTA tracks up to 65 meters on each side of the vehicle and alerts the driver with both audible and visual alerts.
