Hummer H1 is a civilian vehicle off-road M998 High Mobility Multipurpose wheeled vehicle (or Humvee), which was created by AM General. The vehicle was manufactured from 1992 to 2006, and was the first of what became the Hummer line. It was originally known as a "Hummer", but in 1999 a joint venture between General Motors and AM General, GM began to market the Hummer H2, which was built on the Chevrolet Tahoe platform. It 'was at this point that the original Hummer H1, was the name. Collectors, the most desirable model H1 Alpha, which is produced in the last 2006 model year. The Hummer H1 has three common variants: a layer of soft type, a four-door hardtop Sport Utility Truck and Alfa car body. Other less known variants include a truck with two doors, most often in sports, military anti-aircraft turrets and other launch vehicles, or used as a troop transport and cargo slantback four-door to share the same style body of the Humvee used by the U.S. military. The convertible soft top and station wagon versions were the latest available in the mass market. The door between two and four door versions of the collection is only available in the livery of the fleet.
